Shared note

The Trove Newspaper Clippings record the death of an "infant son of a miner named George Rawson" at Toombon in 1902. It was probably this couple who lost their son when his clothes caught alight in their house.

The records of the Walhalla Heritage and Development League indicate that George and Annie had five children.

In the National Archives of Australia - Leo Augustus Rawson is shown as having served as a Gunner in the AIF during WW1. His father is shown as George Rawson, at that time living in Adelaide. It is possible he was a child of George and Annie.

Also in the NAA is a record of a Roy Charles Ellis Rawson b 25 March 1901 in Toombon. Probably another child of George and Annie of whom George, at least appears to have ended up in South Australia.
